Data collected through the site

This site is completely static. We do not collect personal data automatically:

  • No cookies — neither tracking nor profiling
  • No analytics — we don’t use Google Analytics, Plausible, Matomo, or equivalent services
  • No third-party forms — emails go directly to our address, without passing through our application servers

When you write to us by email, we only collect the data you choose to provide (typically: name, email address, optional phone number, and message content). We use it exclusively to respond to you.

  • Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — Explicit consent, when you contact us voluntarily
  • Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — Legitimate interest, to ensure site security (e.g., technical server access logs, when active)

Data retention

  • Contact emails: kept up to 12 months, the time needed to manage the request and any follow-up
  • Technical server logs (when active): kept for a maximum of 30 days for security purposes

Your rights (GDPR)

You have the right to:

  • Access — know what data of yours we process
  • Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data
  • Erasure — request removal of your data (“right to be forgotten”)
  • Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
  • Objection — object to the processing

The site contains links to third-party resources (e.g., LinkedIn, GitHub, YouTube, university websites). Their privacy policies are independent of ours: we recommend reviewing them when you move to those domains.

Security

  • The site is served exclusively over HTTPS
  • A restrictive Content Security Policy prevents loading of external scripts or resources
  • We don’t host sensitive data on the openinnova.it domain

We may update this policy over time. The date at the top of the page always reflects the latest revision. For significant changes we will notify you visibly on the site.
